Scaling the tail
My home-office network is really heterogeneous
- Windows 10
- Windows 11
- Debian
And a Macbook Pro to rule them all. All computers are connected to a Cisco 19 inch router, so the network surely has growing potential!
For me, that mainly has been in the soft aspects of computing ,thought this should be easy to connect and communicate between the computers. But alas, it wasn't..
To the rescue comes Tailscale!
In their own words:
The best secure connectivity platform for the AI era
A Zero Trust identity-based connectivity platform that replaces your legacy VPN, SASE, and PAM and connects remote teams, multi-cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, Edge & IoT devices, and AI workloads.
Might be other supplier that thinks otherwise... but it works!
And I can also add cloud vm:s to the same virtual network which tailscale can assign a really funny domain name to if you want to.
