No cow on the ice
Ingen ko på isen! — "No cow on the ice!" The Swedish idiom for "no worries, everything is under control," or, literally translated into everyday consolation: nothing is stuck, nothing is about to slip into the water.
I have often thought that, well that seems all good, but why?
The answer is that the rest of the idiom has been dropped in current use, do you happen to know what it was? I heard it on Språket i P1.

svansen är kvar i land - as long as the tail is still ashore. The cows were grazing the coastal nere grass. With that added, it makes perfect sense. I have seen cows next to the coast, but its not that common nowadays, which is also the case with ice where I live..
So when things feel precarious: ingen ko på isen. It'll be fine.
